Erin Nevins is the founder and president of USA Medicare Consultants. She opened her own insurance agency (EP Nevins Insurance) in 2007, serving as an independent agent offering various forms of employer-sponsored and individually purchased health, dental, vision, and voluntary insurance benefits. Her focused interest in health insurance led her to create USA Medicare Consultants out of a recognition of the information gap so many of her customers had experienced when it came time to enroll in Medicare.

Prior to forming her own agency, Erin oversaw the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce insurance program while working for Albany Health Associates and Rose & Kiernan, Inc. Before receiving her NYS License in Life, Accident & Health Insurance, she was executive assistant to the vice president of sales at Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield.

Erin also serves as a valued member of the insurance broker advisory committee at multiple insurance carriers, advising and providing valuable feedback to them in an effort to promote comprehensive and affordable products for the upstate New York marketplace.

She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters and has served as president of the organization’s Northeastern New York chapter as well as the current secretary for the New York State Association of Health Underwriters board of directors. Erin has been married for over 30 years to her husband, Daniel, who recently retired from the NYPD Mounted Unit and as New York Army National Guard Black Hawk crew chief, and is active in various community groups such as Boy Scouts Troop #42 (committee member), Eagle Scouts (advisory member), and the Greenville Rotary.
